Vineria is the 5th character, and the 5th beat in the Sprunki AU and mod, '''sprunt.'''

Appearance

Normal Mode

Vineria is a dryad (tree nymph) Sprunki. She has flowering vines with white flowers from her head, meant to resemble dreads, and wears teal overralls, over a pinkish offwhite shirt. She has a green horn on her head, and her limbs are made of branches tied together with vines. Her eyes are slightly red, meant to depict the fact she is constantly high due to her severe anxiety.

Horror Mode

Vineria is rooted into the ground, due to hearing about her sibling's supposed death, and her eyes popped out of her head due to her vines taking control of them, having grown unruly in her death.

Personality

Vineria wants you to believe she has it all put together, but she really, really doesn't. She is calm and laid-back, naturally, but she suffers from an anxiety disorder, that is made worse by, the fact if she isn't constantly level-headed, or at least not anxious, she could petrify into the ground by taking root as a fear response, as her species does. She is constantly high due to this fact, and is not very happy about this fact, but acts as if she does not care otherwise, even though secretly she despises herself.

She is rather kind, and sweet, and if she likes you, she will give you free fruits or vegetables from her farm, as she has plenty to share. She also likes to take them to Pinki, as the two of them bake them into baked goods at times.

She is a bit of a gossip, though not as bad as Wenda, and both Pinki and Wenda enable this behavior, though her gossip is just benign, compared to Wenda's snark and snideness.

Vineria is considered immature by her older sibling, Moss, as she still suffers from anxiety issues, while Moss simply got over theirs, viewing her as incapable of growing up due to this. Despite this, Vineria heavily looks up to Moss, and cares deeply about them.

Biography

Vineria was born around the same time as Pinki, with the two of them being childhood friends ever since they were little. They were very close as children, even though Vineria wasn't yet a girl, with her being previously agender due to being of a cosexual subspecies.

Around puberty, Vineria began questioning her gender, and Pinki helped her comfortably and safely explore it, all possible options because she wasn't really sure what she was, with her realising she was a girl shortly after.

Vineria's older sibling, Moss founds a bar around the time Vineria is in her late teens, and Pinki loses one of her siblings to alcohol poisoning not too long after, because rabbits cannot vomit, traumatizing Pinki for life. Vineria and Pinki at this time drift apart, though not fully, with them still meeting up to talk afterward every so often.

Regardless, the stress of Vineria drifting apart from Pinki, combined with her anxiety getting worse as she aged, causes her to be institutionalized by her family. In the mental hospital, she meets OWAKCX, who she forms a deep friendship with, as both of them suffer from anxiety, though Vineria acts like she can manage hers. She learns better coping skills while she is there, though OWAKCX is deeply traumatized by the experience, and the two of them agree to meet up after they are discharged. Vineria is discharged before OWAKCX, and reconciles with Pinki, and tells her how she has a crush on OWAKCX, while Pinki mentions she also has begun seeing someone, that being Oren.

Vineria eventually does meet up with OWAKCX outside of the psych ward, and the two of them become even closer, as Vineria tells him she likes him, which he accepts, and is happy about. They move in together shortly after, with Vineria taking over her family's farm as they go retire somewhere else.

Vineria meets Wenda shortly after, and the two of them become fast friends, with the two of them exchanging frequent gossip, as does Pinki, with all three of them being friends. Wenda and Vineria become best friends very fast, and Vineria frequently gives her her favorite fruit, pumpkin, which she takes to Pinki sometimes, to be baked into pies and the like.

Unfortunately, Vineria's happiness ends in September of 2025, when Lichen Liquor, the bar her sibling, Moss, owns, is set on fire by Wenda in an attempt to kill both Tunner and Raddy. All occupants of the bar survive, but Vineria, upon hearing from brud that Lichen Liquor was set on fire, petrifies into the ground and goes into basically a coma, fearing for her sibling's life.

Relationships

OWAKCX

Vineria and OWAKCX are very close, living together in Vineria's farmhouse after they begin to date. They are deeply codependant with each other, being each other's confidant in their emotions. Sometimes they smoke weed together, and Vineria is the person OWAKCX trusts the most, and the person he likes to talk to the most. Vineria likes OWAKCX a lot, and thinks he is very funny, even if he isn't trying to be.

Pinki

Pinki and Vineria were best friends for much of their lives, though Vineria seems to have replaced Pinki with Wenda for a period, though they never stopped being close. Vineria likes to give Pinki her favorite vegetables, in addition to fruits for her to bake into baked goods, which they split the profits of. The two of them like to go on "girlfriend dates", and talk about their partners, and life with each other.

Wenda

Wenda is Vineria's close friend, and current best friend, and loves to gossip with her, though Vineria's is mostly benign, though Wenda does like to hear her talk shit about others. Vineria likes to give Wenda her favorite fruit, pumpkin, which she will often take to their other friend, Pinki to bake into pies and the like. Wenda regrets unintentionally killing Vineria, and does everything she can to make up for it after Vineria's revival, though it is not enough.

Moss

Tunner

Vineria views Tunner as a sort of uncle figure, viewing him as a close family friend even when she was younger. He was vaguely friendly with her parents, before they moved away, and continues to be close with her to this day. Sometimes Tunner will help out on her farm, and she gives him some of the crops as payment. He also likes to buy produce from her, and use it for his own cooking.

• Vineria is a lesbian trans woman, who dated OWAKCX because she thought she had an exception, but she was simply pre-ordering.
• Vineria loves to garden, with her house being full of plants both inside and outside, not to mention her farm. Her boyfriend is also a plant, which could mean nothing.
• Vineria suffers from severe anxiety, and also self-loathing, keeping herself high to avoid addressing both issues.
• Vineria has the equivalent of "male PCOS" (disorder name not mine), in addition to being infertile due to lacking a natural noise, with her wig/vines being the cause of her noise. She is naturally bald due to both these facts, with her vines being her "hair."
• Vineria is on estrogen.
• Vineria, Moss, and OWAKCX all have plant sap as blood. Which is yellow. OWAKCX isn't related to the two of them, being a thistle and not a tree, but a plant nonetheless.
• Vineria draws out her words when she talks.
• Vineria's flowers bloom when she's happy, and in spring, sometimes she will grow grapes too.
