Raddy

Raddy is the 2nd character, and the 2nd beat in the Sprunki AU and mod, '''sprunt.'''

Appearance

Normal Mode

Raddy is a red oni Sprunki. He has large, bull-like horns on the sides of his head, and three smaller ones in the middle. He possesses spikes along his body, in addition to red striping. He has a mismatching toothy scowl and angry eyes and eyebrows. He wears a tan shirt, and black shorts, with no shoes, possessing clawed, reptilian feet.

Horror Mode

His horror mode's appearance is the same as canon Raddy's, only more detailed, with his body torn up, his guts exposed, and his eye missing, which happened prior to his death.

Personality

A hot-headed, high-tempered sort of guy, Raddy is frequently getting into disputes. However, don't let this fool you, because despite this, he deeply cares about others despite his harsh and seemingly cruel exterior. He insults others, and calls them unkind names, but he does this because he cares, and also because he was raised in an environment where this was normalized. He is rather crabby, and is easily set off, though he never actually causes any substantial harm, though he will act out when upset.

He has a general disregard for authority, due to the fact he was raised in a very hostile and poor environment, though he will listen to the orders of those he trusts. He is easily envious over others, and deeply insecure about the fact, while despite him enjoying sports, games, and general athletics, he is not strong, good, or vigorous at all. He is also deeply insecure about his masculinity, and will over-perform in it as a result.

Raddy is not politically correct, and will use slurs and derogatories to refer to others, which he does not care about the ramifications of. (Both this and the previous two sentences are shared with Garnold.)

He is crude and crass, and does not give a shit about manners, being rather rude. This also might be a pushback at his distaste for authority and society in general, but he would never admit this. It is rare to see Raddy smile, though sometimes he will, when rather contented. His default expression is a scowl, and he does not express much other than that.

Raddy's hidden talent is art, though he views it as weak and pathetic for a man like him to enjoy it, though he is quite good at it. He has a job as a tattoo artist as a result, because he likes to draw, now in a way that is socially acceptable for a man like him. Previously he had a hobby in grafitti, though not as much anymore.

Despite all of this, he cares about those close to him, and will do anything to make sure they are okay, safe, and feeling alright, and will feel rather terrible if he causes them to feel that way. He will beat himself up for making those he cares about feel bad, and feel rather poorly about it too. He has a strong moral code, and will almost never do things that defy it in his opinion, even if it differs from general society's. He also hates showing vulnerability in front of others, though he will let up his tough exterior if you know him well enough, and he cares about you enough.

Raddy holds suicidal tendencies, though one he never acts on, up until pushed far enough in Horror Mode. He does not let others know about the fact he feels this way. Sort of like Tunner.

Biography

Born in a hostile environment, Raddy was always an outcast in his life. His family was abusive, and his only escape was school, but because he was viewed as a weird and bad kid due to his appearance, background, and the fact he would act out when upset due to this being normalized in his homelife, he struggled to make friends. Eventually, he made friends with Durple and OWAKCX, who were also viewed as weird and bad kids, due to the fact Durple had a learning disability in addition to his narcolepsy, and Lyman because he was anxious and generally strange.

Raddy, though it is not relevant before this time, is a trans man, and eventually ends up coming out in early highschool to Lyman and Durple, who accept his identity, though his family, does not. He develops a distaste for authority figures as a result of this, in addition to him being generally abused in his household.

When Raddy is about 16, he develops romantic feelings for both Lyman and Durple, with him telling Lyman first. This was a mistake, as Lyman flips the fuck out at him, and tells him to never talk to him again, as he is disgusted by the idea of a Man being into him for reasons he does not really understand. As a result, Raddy never tells Durple that he loves him, until much later.

Raddy begins getting involved in petty, minor crimes as a way to show his disgust with authority. He targets Tunner frequently, as he is the only real law enforcement in the town at the time this starts, and his predecessor was previously called to his house for infractions for his parents, but did nothing because they did not have the authority or evidence to do so. Raddy writes a couple slurs and insults on the sheriff's office with spraypaint, and eventually gets caught by Tunner when he comes back to retrieve one of his cans. He is put in jail for a week, and Tunner assumes he will be bailed out because he is a minor. He is not bailed out, and Raddy instead escapes himself, by breaking one of his longer horns off, and sawing bars in the window off, and climbing out.

Shortly after, Tunner finds Raddy to have escaped, but he cannot find him, even as he visits his parents' house, who simply laugh at him being missing. He goes to sulk at the bar, and finds Raddy there, drinking and staring at the table, which is obviously illegal. Tunner gets ready to arrest him, but Raddy just says he deserves it because of everything wrong with his life. Tunner instead realises that Raddy is a kindred spirit to him, a child in a background similar to his in a way, forced to be violent, hostile, and act out due to his upbringing, and that being all he knew. Tunner says he will remove the charges from his record, and Raddy begins to view Tunner as a sort of father figure as their friendship continues to grow, with Raddy eventually asking him to legally adopt him, which Tunner denies because that would be a whole mess of legality, though he allows him to call him his father, which Raddy does, calling him his dad and introducing him as such to people.

When Oren and Simon arrive on the planet, Raddy and Durple, who are still friends despite the falling out with OWAKCX, are the first to greet them. The four of them become a friend group shortly after, though Simon and Raddy were rivals in regards to just about everything, with Raddy always incapable of beating him.

Eventually, Simon developed feelings for what is basically Raddy's father, and promptly got rejected, and ended up realising his feelings for Tunner were likely misattributed onto the wrong person, instead of Raddy and Durple, and ends up confessing to the two of them in a drunken sorrow, which Raddy accepts, and ends up taking the two of them to the house he and Durple share, placing them in his bed while he tells Tunner what happened, before falling asleep himself. The three of them are in a relationship after this, and will be up until the apocalypse in 2025.

When the horror mode apocalypse happens, Raddy is completely unaware that anything is happening up until Vineria's petrification, which he hears about, and seeks out OWAKCX to comfort him about the loss of his girlfriend. OWAKCX does not take his comfort well, and in a delusional stat combined with years of pent-up frustration, ends up ripping Raddy's left eye out.

Shortly after this, OWAKCX is killed, and Wenda comes to the house Raddy shares with his partners, and ends up poisoning the three of them. Simon is the first to get sick, vomitting black liquid, followed by Durple. Raddy does not take the two of them becoming seemingly deathly ill, and after the two of them pass out, Raddy ends up hanging himself in their house before he can get sick himself, due to the fact he has a slower metabolism than the two of them.

Simon wakes up shortly after, being newly abnormal, newly blind, and newly animalistic, and ends up finding Raddy's corpse, and tries to rouse him by licking him. It does not work, which turns into chewing on him, then biting him, begging for a response from him. None of this works, and eventually he ends up mauling his corpse in stress, before eventually getting bored, and leaving the house, led by a seeing Durple.

Relationships

Durple and Simon

Durple and Simon are Raddy's closest friends, with the three of them always being seen together. The three of them also live together, having a sort of domestic life together. Raddy often acts as the voice of reason to Durple and Simon's shenanigans, and has a more logical mind than the two of them.

Oren

Oren and Raddy are close, with Raddy being best friends with her. He also harbors feelings for her, though ones he will never act on, due to the fact she is a lesbian and he is a man. The two of them frequently play video games together, and Raddy gets rather heated doing so, as he does with everyone.

OWAKCX

Raddy's feelings on OWAKCX are complicated. He wishes he could be friends with him again, though he claims he has moved on past him. OWAKCX might hate Raddy more than Raddy hates OWAKCX in modern times, though he doesn't make this fact well-known or obvious. Raddy wishes he could repair his relationship with him, though he never does.

Tunner

Raddy views Tunner as his father, with him going as far as to ask Tunner to adopt him. Despite this, they do get into disputes at times, though nothing particularly serious. Raddy wants to stay on Tunner's good side, and will try to stay out of trouble in modern times as a result. Tunner views Raddy as a good kid in a previously bad environment, and is happy to see him doing better, and being happy at that. The two of them will drink together frequently, along with Durple, and Simon, though he usually does not drink himself.

• Raddy is a stealth trans man who if you asked, would say he is a gay cis man, but he is actually homoflexible/bisexual with a male preference, and also polyamorous.
• Raddy is dating Durple and Simon.
• Raddy's muscles aren't actually muscles, they are the equivalent of water weight. He isn't all that strong, and can easily be beaten by Jevin, and also potentially Durple.
• Raddy is not good at sports or games. He wants to be, but he is very bad at it.
