Durple

Raddy is the 12th character, and the 2nd melody in the Sprunki AU and mod, '''sprunt.'''

Appearance

Normal Mode

Durple is a very tall violet dragon Sprunki with a long neck. She has large frills on the sides of her face, and spines along her back, as well as two long horns on her head. He has lavender angel wings on his back, in addition to a lighter scaley pattern on his stomach, and a small tail also with spines. They have a dopey smile on his face, and heavily lidded sleepy-looking eyes.

Horror Mode

It has ripped off its wings, and has slitted pupils, in its now wide-open eyes. He opens his mouth to reveal razor-sharp teeth in it, as a sort of pharyngeal jaw.

Personality

Durple is a level-headed, and chill, sort of guy. She likes to eat good food, and likes to sleep, being a major foodie, just like Tunner, and Simon and Raddy, though she will often eat more... outlandish combinations of things... than them. The finer things of life are her favorite, and she wants to have as much of a good time as possible, and she is sort of hedonistic, and will often do things that do not make sense to others, but do to her, just because she enjoys them.

He lives a life of leisure, by his own choice, and marches by the beat of his own drum, being a free-thinker, even if what he thinks seems odd to others. He is very kind to others, and is always trying to be nice, but he is also kind of stupid, ending up in making many socials faux pas due to being kind of stupid, as he has a learning disability in addition to that. (He is sort of similar to brud in this regard, though the two are not particularly close until after horror mode.

They struggle to remember and pronounce people's names, and often will call people similar sounding names as a result. They have a generally poor memory, though it is not their fault, as they have narcolepsy, in addition to autism and some form of learning disability. They do not mean any harm with their frequent misnomers to others, and it is not indicative of a lack of care for you.

Durple is very easy-going, and does not like to cause trouble with others, though she will end up doing so quite often anyway, as she forms a sort of idiot duo (sometimes trio) with Simon and Oren, the former being her partner. Raddy acts as a sort of foil and voice of reason to the three of them's antics, and is generally smarter than Durple is.

He works as doordasher, and flies to deliver food, despite his wings being quite small. However, he often gets tired while doing so, so he ends up eating some of the food as a result. Somehow he is not fired despite this.

They care deeply about their friends, and will do anything to protect them, or make them happy, especially when they are sad, with them frequently acting silly or stupider than they truly are to make people feel better. They will often do things that their friends find funny, just to make them smile.

Biography

Durple was born to a family with several siblings. He is loved by his family, though sort of neglected, as is the result of having more than a couple siblings. Most of his trouble comes from schooling, where the issue of both his learning disability, and in middle school, his narcolepsy developing and him frequently falling asleep in class, cause problems. Durple is deemed a Bad and Unteachable Kid, similar to Raddy due to his frequent outbursts, and Lyman due to his heavy anxious and odd behavior. The three of them were put in special classes together, and ended up becoming close friends as a result.

Durple is supportive of Raddy when he comes out as a man, and Lyman is too, up until Raddy expresses romantic interest in Lyman, which he is disgusted by. Despite Raddy also having feelings for Durple, he never ends up telling him until much later, because of fear that Durple will flip out at him too. Lyman begins to isolate himself from both Durple and Raddy as a result of his disgust with the latter, and leaves their friend group.

Durple and Raddy remain friends, and even move in together after Raddy's friend (and father figure) Tunner helps him get a house of their own, previously living in what was Tunner's old house. Durple is not aware of Raddy's feelings for him, until later. The two of them meet Simon and Oren, and the four of them become close friends after Durple stumbles across them having landed on the planet. Simon eventually falls for both Durple and Raddy, and confesses to both of them while drunk one day, which the two of them accept, and they have been together since.

When the horror mode apocalypse happens, Durple is present when Raddy's eye is ripped out by OWAKCX, as is Simon. Shortly after, Wenda is let into the house the three of them share, and poisons all the food in their house with a serum designed to transform them into pawns for Mr. Black's plan. It fails to affect Raddy before he kills himself due to seeing his partners get severely ill, but Durple (and Simon) end up transformed as a result.

Relationships

Raddy and Simon

Raddy and Simon are Durple's closest friends, with the three of them always being seen together. The three of them also live together, having a sort of domestic life together, with Durple and Raddy living together originally, simply as friends, as Just roommates, though now it is something more. Raddy often acts as the voice of reason to the two of them's shenanigans, and has a more logical mind than the two of them.

Oren

Oren and Durple are rather close, with the two of them being the closest set of friends of the bunch. Durple was Oren's first friend, besides Simon, who she came to the planet with, though Raddy was also present shortly after. The two of them often have outlandish ideas, especially regarding food, and Durple will frequent Oren's workplace to goof off with her on the job, including making really bad combinations of food.

OWAKCX

Durple misses OWAKCX, and wishes he would talk to her again, though she keeps up with his life through Simon, who is the only friend outside of OWAKCX's main friend-group that he has. Durple wishes that OWAKCX was doing better mentally, despite his modern lack of interest in her.

• Durple is a gender apathetic transfem (wo)man who is bisexual and polyamorous.
• Durple is dating Raddy and Simon.
• Durple has narcolepsy, a learning disability, and autism.
• Durple drives really badly, but will sometimes drive anyway, frequently breaking road laws when they do drive.
• Durple's favorite food is hamburger.
• Durple is an angel dragon, forming a sort of thematic trio with Raddy, who is an oni, which is a demon, and Simon, who is an alien.
  • Durple's angel motifs were the last one decided of these three, and were not present from the beginning, though it was rather fitting regardless.
• Durple is on E.
• Durple will frequently get tired, and then eventually fall asleep, as the result of her narcolepsy. Sometimes it is a point of contention with Raddy, though nothing serious.
• Durple collects trumpets, and other similarly shiny and gold (color) things. She will lay on her "horde" sometimes.
• Sometimes Raddy will smack Durple around, in the way someone will smack a dog's back, though variable locations. Durple is not affected by being smacked in this way, and sometimes is contented by it, though usually she does not feel it, due to her skin being so thick.

• Unlike Raddy and Simon, Durple is secure in her identity and who she is, because thog don't caare.

• Durple likes to eat the pool balls, when she and her boyfriends go to the bar to play pool and drink and be merry. This annoys Moss, who says she has to pay for the damages, which she never does.
• Durple loves watching nonsensical content sludge videos, and is constantly thinking of them. Simon introduced her to them, and she since has gotten addicted.
• Durple uses very basic wording choices, like brud does. But he still talks more than Gray.
