Jevin is the 19th character, and the 4th voice in the Sprunki AU and mod, '''sprunt.'''

Appearance

Normal Mode

Jevin is a blue human Sprunki, wearing a dark blue cloak. He has big puffy eyebrows, and eyeshadow. He has a gem on the front of his cloak, which has a hood, which his head is in. He also has a weird cape draped on his back, and black shoes. Under his cloak he wears a black sweater, and black sweatpants. He has vague facial hair on his chin, but no hair elsewhere.

Horror Mode

Same as canon.

Personality

Jevin is.. a character. He isn't very expressive at all, having a flat affect, speaking bluntly, and the fact the only people who can really read his face are Tunner, and Sky, both of whom are very close to him, though Tunner is closer to him than Sky, having known him for three decades as compared to her one.

Rarely, Clukr and Garnold, his only friends besides his family, will be able to read his face too, though not well, and often are inaccurate about what he is feeling. Fun Bot also gains the ability to read his face later, though after they have co-habited a while after the events of horror mode. Despite this fact, he is very kind, very selfless, and very sympathetic, though he does struggle with empathy at times.

Jevin has low empathy, with it being very selective, and usually only feeling empathy about his close friends and family, but he is not cruel or heartless due to this, being loyal to a fault to those he cares about like Tunner. He is simply autistic, being professionally diagnosed after he left the cult, even. He also is not very open about his feelings due to his CPTSD, especially not with anyone but Tunner, who he will confide in about exactly how he feels, being very quiet about how he feels otherwise. He is not incapable of feeling emotion, he just does not visibly emote. Jevin also holds grudges, though he takes way more to hate you than Wenda, who will dish out grudges like no tomorrow, as Jevin takes something very significant and what he views as personal or deeply harmful to truly hate someone.

He loves to read, and has an occupation as a librarian due to it, and will frequently take out books from the town library to read, with his favorites being murder mystery novels and classics. He also loves to read and learn about bugs, gemstones and rocks, and reptiles, though the latter was a more... recent inclusion of his interests. He doesn't talk much normally, but if you start talking to him about a topic he enjoys, he will talk with you for a while. He prefers to listen to others though, like Garnold, especially Tunner, and his close friend, Clukr, both of whom are severe yappers.

Jevin from birth has had the ability to see the future, though not any specific future, just many possible outcomes. This deeply upsets him, because usually the future he is shown is bad things happening to those he cares about, and those he doesn't really care about, though he still feels bad about it. He does not often talk about this to anyone, besides rarely Tunner, though usually he just suffers in silence.

Due to the fact he has constant visions of Bad Things happening to those he cares about, Jevin is a joyful nihilist, in that he knows one day everything will be taken away from him and there is nothing he can do about it, so he tries to have the best of times he can with those he loves as long as he can. He is not apathetic, but he is nihilistic, even if he doesn't act of it.

Jevin is not open about his identity as a homosexual, and is deeply insecure about it, having been told that is not okay for much of his early life.

Biography

Almost 5 decades ago, Jevin was born in the Cult of Smoke, which happens to worship Mr. Black. Jevin was noted to be gifted from birth, with both clairvoyance, and small wings on his back. He was quickly groomed into becoming a successor to one of the current prophets, who predicted he would flee the cult in his adulthood, so when he was about 5 or 6, his wings were clipped, being cut off, leaving nothing but nubs behind. Jevin was supposed to be very important to the cult, and especially to Mr. Black, but when he was an older teenager, he heard rumors, rumors of there being an outside world. A world outside the cult he was raised in to learn nothing but misery and appraisal of violence, that some other members defected to. This intrigued Jevin, and he fled one summer day, fufilling the prophecy, and forever getting the ire of Mr. Black.

Not too far into his journey, with nothing on him besides just his clothes, he meets Tunner, who attempts to rob him. Tunner does not succeed at robbing Jevin, because Jevin has nothing on him besides his clothes, and takes pity on poor Jevin, and the two of them become friends, cohabiting for a while in a small town, before Tunner goes on his seperate way, becoming homeless again, but now incapable of inflicting violence on nor being merciless to anyone, so he just kind of suffers. Jevin finds him again, and invites him to his new house, where he stays a while, and never leaves even after he builds his own place.

While the two of them spend even more time with each other, Jevin develops feelings and attraction for Tunner, but doesn't dare speak on it, due to being raised to believe it was wrong by Mr. Black's teachings, that only apply to others, and not himself, as Mr. Black is also a homosexual. Tunner develops feelings for Jevin later, and is the one to confess to him, which Jevin agrees to, saying he feels the same and that he had for a while.

A foundling from Mr. Black's cult is found in the forest outside Jevin's house one day, and upon realising it is from there, Jevin refuses to let Tunner take it back to that place. Jevin adopts it as his own, though he doesn't let her call him dad out of fear of losing her, and refers to her solely as his ward, naming her Sky, after her color.

Shortly after Tunner runs for sheriff-elect, and succeeds, Jevin gets a job as a librarian at a library that opened up in their town. He greatly enjoys this job, even if he doesn't really look it, and even if his ID card is frightening and scary because of the fake smile he did.

Jevin becomes close friends with Clukr and Garnold after Tunner introduces him to the two of them, as they are another gay couple in the town, and the four of them enjoy gossiping about topics after becoming friends, and their children, Sky and Fun Bot, and even Mr. Fun Computers, become close friends as well, with Sky and Fun Bot going to school together and playing outside of school at each other's houses and outside frequently.

When Garnold is killed in summer of 2025, Jevin is deeply upset, and is the one to investigate all the deaths of the other Sprunkis with Tunner from then on. When Clukr is beheaded by Wenda in September, Jevin and Tunner take him and his children to Jevin's house, where they watch over him as he is dying. Fun Bot is the one to inform Jevin of Sky's murder one day on the way home from school, having retrieved her body from the cliff Wenda threw her off.

When Clukr succumbs to starvation, Jevin and Tunner try to flee the town the same way they usually would sit outside it, only to be caught by Wenda, who confirms it was her who was killing everyone. She challenges Tunner to a gunfight duel to decide Jevin's fate, but cheats before even finishing the countdown. She stays to taunt Tunner as he dies, but when he doesn't respond, she storms off to find Gray to take her anger out on him. Jevin spends the last moments of Tunner's life comforting him, singing to him as he dies, and in Tunner's last moments of clarity, he says that he loves Jevin, and that he knows he will be okay.

After Tunner dies, Jevin tries to carry his body back to their house so he can bury him next to Sky, but stumbles across Wenda attempting to kill Gray, watched and encouraged by Mr. Black. Jevin does not have the chance to intervene, before brud arrives with an angry Mr. White, who forcibly pacifies Mr. Black, and Jevin mopes off to bury his dead lover.

Relationships

Tunner

Tunner and Jevin are very close. Tunner is the one person Jevin confides his truest and deepest feelings in, being very closed off otherwise. Tunner also is not very open about his emotions, but he will confide in Jevin as well. The two of them practically live together, though Tunner technically has his own house, which he is never at. Even though Jevin does not emote very much, if at all, Tunner can read every expression on his face, and can explain it to others as well, and loves doing so. Jevin likes to listen to Tunner talking and rambling about things, looking vaguely contented when they do. The two of them like to go to the outskirts of town and sit together, and lean on each other, while Tunner either sleeps or plays his guitar, and Jevin usually reads, with neither of them liking PDA. One day Wenda stumbled across them doing this one day, and remembered they go to there every time they leave town, to have a safe place to be affectionate, and that is how she intercepted them on their abscondment from Ariosso. When more Sprunkis begin dying, Jevin never leaves Tunner's side up until his death.

When Tunner is killed, Jevin never moves on, not even years after his death.

Sky

Sky is Jevin, and Tunner's ward, adopted by the two of them. Jevin is the closer parent of her, out of the two of them, even if he is more strict and insistent about raising her right, with him refusing her snacks and treats more than Tunner does. Sky refuses to call Jevin her dad, despite viewing him, and Tunner, as such, up until she is dying, when Fun Bot brings her to them. Sky is very attached to Jevin, and due to her abandonment at a young age, developed abandonment issues and gets anxious when seperated from him for a long time, though she is better enough to go to school modernly.

Clukr and Garnold

Clukr and Garnold are Jevin's close friends, being introduced to each other by Tunner. Jevin and Garnold are the only two humans in town, and talk to each other about this shared fact, even if Garnold hides the fact he is human, otherwise not talking much, as neither of them do. Clukr and Jevin are closer than Jevin and Garnold, with the two of them sharing books and sharing gossip frequently, talking in long conversations to each other about their interests, as Jevin does with Tunner. Clukr vaguely reminds Jevin of Tunner, in how much he talks at least, and is closer to him due to this.

When Garnold is killed, Jevin and Tunner are not happy, with the two of them investigating the circumstance before finding it simply odd. The two of them are also deeply upset by Clukr's beheading months later, and take him to their house along with his family before he dies.

Mr. Black

Jevin does NOT like Mr. Black. Mr. Black does not like Jevin. Jevin can view Mr. Black at all times, and will frequently see him stalking him, trying to mess with him and his psychosis. Jevin views Mr. Black as the reason Tunner was killed, and he is correct in this assumption.

After horror mode, despite the two of them sharing two of the same loved ones lost, Mr. Black and Jevin detest each other even more, viewing each other as the reason Clukr and Garnold were killed.

Trivia

• Jevin is a boreasexual homosexual trans man, with his only exception being Tunner, being otherwise aroace. He is also demisexual in that regard.
• Jevin's favorite books to read are classics. His favorite book is Frankenstein.
• Jevin has autism, CPTSD, religious trauma, and is psychotic. He also has type one diabetes, but that isn't a mental disorder.
• Jevin is the big spoon when he and Tunner cuddle.
• Jevin is on testosterone, and full op, having had both top and bottom surgery.
• Jevin has a flat affect, which mostly disappears when he is drunk, becoming incredibly affectionate to Tunner , who just gets stupid when he is drunk. He doesn't drink often due to this.
• Jevin has the Joe Merrick Autism Stare. Jevin does not smile normally, usually only getting a small smirk if anything, which usually only Tunner can tell he is smiling. If he was told to smile on command, he would grin scarily, as he doesn't really know how to smile.
• Jevin talks very verbosely, similar to Mr. Black, especially in how both of them are blunt in their delivery.
• Sometimes Tunner and Jevin bathe together, because Tunner hogs the water for hours at a time.
• Jevin blushes purple, because his skin is blue. He has red blood though.
• Jevin had wings on his back when he was born, but they were cut off when he was realised to have the Gift of clairvoyance as a child. He has phantom pain due to them being removed, and little nubs on his back from where they were.
• Jevin wears a lot of clothes because he is deeply hateful of his body. The only time he is completely naked is when he is showering/batheing.
• Jevin likes to peel Tunner's shedding scales off.
  • Jevin also likes to play with Tunner's ears, as you do a dog's.
• Jevin prides himself on being the most emotionally mature Sprunki, and bottles away his emotions to keep this appearance up. He only spills how he feels to Tunner, when it all comes spurting out.
• Tunner likes to call Jevin southern nicety petnames, like pumkin and sugarcube and buttercup. He also uses niceties on others, but you can just tell when he is using them as a term of endearment as compared to a nice term.
  • However, Tunner's favorite and most common term of endearment for Jevin is to call him Jev/Jevs.
• Jevin likes baked goods, not having much opportunity to eat them in the cult, and will have Tunner cook for him, or him to order them from Pinki.
• Rarely, Jevin will write poems about Tunner. He starts doing this much more after his death, as he continues to grieve for him.
• Jevin will never find love again after Tunner's death, both because he can't move on, and because he doesn't want to move on.
• Jevin is bald. Not a single piece of hair has graced his scalp since birth, though he does have big bushy eyebrows and facial hair, and maybe body hair too.
• Jevin hates the smell of smoke, both due to Mr. Black, the cult, and also because Tunner was a smoker and it reminds him of the one he lost.
• Jevin waits every year for Tunner and Sky to wake up to celebrate Christmas with them, as they hibernate.
  • Before Tunner and Jevin were dating, Jevin panicked when winter came and Tunner had just vanished, assuming he had died suddenly while outside of their house. He was relieved to see him months later, and Tunner was confused as to why he was so worried about him, as he did not know he yearned for him yet.
• Jevin sleeps either like a corpse, or with his arms to the side of him flat on his back, stiff as a board. Tunner sleeps ontop of him, usually, sprawled the hell out.
• Jevin has night terrors sometimes, which he thrashes about when having, and screams and cries. This sometimes disturbs Tunner, who assures him that he is safe and that it is okay and that he is there for him.
• Jevin is left-handed naturally, but learned to be ambidextrous due to being trained to be so.
• Jevin coddles Tunner's hat after his death, and keeps it with him in his possessions until it completely loses his scent. When that happens, he hangs it up on the coatrack, and stares longingly at it, wishing things went differently.
