Oren

Simon is the 13th character, and the 4th melody in the Sprunki AU and mod, '''sprunt.'''

Appearance

Normal Mode

Simon is a yellow alien Sprunki, of the same species as Oren. He has upright antennae on the top of his head, and pointed ears. He has a small tuft of hair on the top of his head, and a happy expression on his face. He wears a blue and white striped open-faced jacket, with blue sleeves, and wears blue shorts. He wears no shoes, having paws like Oren's. His head floats, as does Oren's.

Horror Mode

Simon has become emaciated, and grins a scary grin. His eyes have folded in on themselves, and he cannot see anymore, being blinded. His antennae are at the sides of his head now, and he has a scar on his upper lip. He has grown a neck, and his head is now connected to his body.

Personality

Simon is kind and confident, a goody-two shoes, though not without a mischievous streak. While he is morally good, and usually swings on the side of morality and legality, he still functions as practically chaotic good, and will get involved in mischief with his friends, Oren, Durple, and Raddy, though the latter often acts as the voice of reason of the other three.

He likes to look at the best side of things, being heavily optimistic, and will end up making mistakes by assuming the best of people, not easily viewing that people could be cruel or evil or just simply bad, being rather naive. He trusts people very easily, being extremely friendly as a result. He knows many members of the town, and loves to strike up conversation, being heavily extroverted. He cares a lot about other people, and just the general world in general, and will act as a shoulder for others to cry on if they have issues, with him being high empathy as a result.

As a result of his high empathy and trusting nature, he crushes easily. In addition to being very into the idea of romance, and crushing very easily, he is very loving in general, even without romance being involved. All you have to do to get him to like you is be nice to him, or not even that, as he fell for Raddy despite the two of them being rivals in sports and cross country racing.

He is very athletic, probably the most out of all the Sprunkis, and can beat just about anyone in a race or in sports. He has a high metabolism as a result, and is a foodie, eating a lot of food in a short time to get back to sports. Though he does not seem to gain weight, ever. He also enjoys playing video games, especially with Raddy and Oren.

Despite everything, he does not really have a good view on himself, as he is not really sure who Simon is.

Biography

After being born on their home planet, Citren, and raised alongside Oren and many other Citriens, Simon and his best friend and platonic better half Oren were sent as scouts to the Sprunt world over half a decade ago. Instead of returning and reporting back to their superiors, the two of them decided to stay there, as they had grown attached to the world, as well as its inhabitants, especially Raddy and Durple, who were the first to stumble across the two of them.

Raddy and Simon quickly became rivals, in regards to almost everything, but especially sports. Raddy wanted to beat him at athleticism so badly, but he never could, but the two of them grew closer as result of their rivalry anyway, with Simon eventually developing romantic feelings for him, in addition to some for Durple due to their close friendship. He also developed romantic feelings for Tunner, after having seen him around the town, and learning about him from Raddy, though Tunner quickly rejected Simon's advances, both due to being taken, and Simon being half his age. This led into Simon confessing to Raddy and Durple while drunk, while he usually never drinks alcohol.

Afterward a night at the bar, Raddy took a sleeping Simon and Durple to he and Durple's house, and placed them in his bed, while he talked to Tunner about what happened, as he is sort of like his father figure. This was the beginning of the three of them's relationship, and would only be put to an end come the apocalypse in 2025.

Simon is also close friends with Garnold, with Simon looking up to him, as a sort of mentor figure, especially in regards to how he seems to have everything together, in addition to his jocky and confident exterior, which Simon is not aware is all a front. He is also envious of the fact Garnold is so confident and open about being a gay man, while Simon cannot bring himself to correct the fact he is dating his two boyfriends to anyone he isn't particularly close to, with many assuming they are just best friends.

Simon is also amicable with Wenda, Gray, and OWAKCX, with Simon being the latter's only friend outside of his main friend group of the previous two, Vineria and brud. Simon is also aware of the latter two, though not particularly close to either.

Simon works as a dental assisstant at a local dentist's office, which he completed a training course for, as he always has had a fascination with teeth, though he could not tell you why. He prefers the fact he works as an assistant and not the main dentist, as he does not enjoy bringing pain to others.

When the horror mode apocalypse happens, Simon is foolish enough to trust Wenda, due to previously liking her, and let her into his house he shares with his partners due to the fact their mutual friend OWAKCX being found dead. The two of them talk about how sad they are about OWAKCX's death, which Simon was not yet aware of, being notified by her. Without Simon knowing, Wenda poisons all the food in his house with a serum made by Mr. Black to transform the three of them into abnormals. Simon starts getting sick shortly after this, and begins vomitting black liquid, with Durple following suit shortly after. The serum fails to work as quickly on Raddy, due to his slower metabolism, and in his fear of both his partners getting sick and potentially dying, as they have both passed out by the point he does so, he ends up taking his own life by hanging himself. A newly abnormal and animalistic Simon wakes up shortly after, and newly blind and unsure of anything, begins chewing on everything to determine what it is. He smells Raddy, and begins chewing on his body in an attempt to rouse him from what he assume is slumber, but this fails to work, so he begins to eat away at him in panic, as a dog does to its dead owner in anxiety.

Later, abnormal Simon mauls brud, after being encouraged to by Wenda, and is wrestled off her by brud's father, Mr. Black.

Relationships

Raddy and Durple

Raddy and Durple are Simon's closest friends, with them being his partners. They frequently hang out together, and also live together. Raddy and Simon love to play varying methods of athletics against each other, and Durple and Simon love to goof off together. Raddy acts as the voice of reason to them and sometimes Oren's antics, with the two of them often getting into very idiotic mischief together. After horror mode, Durple is the one to lead Simon around, due to him being newly blind.

Oren

Oren and Simon are also very close, with them being best friends. They were the only two each other knew on the Sprunki world and in general, for the longest time, almost her entire life, and all of Simon's. They might've even been vatmates, being incubated from the same batch, though Simon was incubated for much longer. The two of them are sort of like a set of platonic life partners, with Simon acting as her closest confidant and platonic better half, as Pinki and Vineria are to each other. Despite this closeness, and Simon's tendency to form romantic crushes on people quite easily, Simon was never attracted to Oren, with the two of them's relationship being strictly platonic.

Gray, Wenda and OWAKCX

is Simon's friend, connected through him via Oren. She introduced the two of them due to knowing Gray from her work, and Simon quickly became fascinated with Gray, despite his apparent lack of interest in Simon. Simon loves to talk to him, and catch him up on what is going on in town, because besides his job at MardDonalds, he is rather introverted. Despite everything, Gray does hold fondness for Simon, even if he doesn't make it outwardly apparent.

Wenda was introduced to Simon through Gray, who also introduced him to OWAKCX. Simon likes Wenda, and finds her quite charming, and loves to gossip with her, though unbeknownst to him, she doesn't hold the same fondness for him. Simon trusts Wenda, and will do favors for her at times.

Despite OWAKCX's dislike of Simon's boyfriend, Raddy, Simon is the only friend OWAKCX has outside of his main friend-group. Simon will tell OWAKCX, who is a bit of a shut-in, what is going on inside the town and things that happened to him that are funny. OWAKCX likes Simon, despite his connection to Raddy.

Garnold and Tunner

Simon views Garnold as a sort of mentor figure to him, looking up to him heavily. He thinks that Garnold has everything in his life put together, and views him as so cool to him, even though Garnold in actuality is a big fat fucking loser dweeb nerd. Simon is not aware that Garnold's coolness, jockiness and confidence is a front, and never learns that it is. He would be crushed to learn Garnold isn't as cool as he is, but as he never learns, he continues to look up to him even after his death. Simon wishes he could be like what he views Garnold as.

Simon is not particularly close with Tunner, but harbored a crush on him for a while, from information he gathered from Raddy, as well as Tunner's physical appearance. He had no chance with the man, as he was well-taken, in addition to viewing Simon as too young for him, as he is half his age.

Trivia

• Simon is a pansexual polyamorous man, who is also transmasc by technicality, due to his species being genotypically sexless. He wears a packer and takes testosterone to present more masculine.
• Simon is dating to Raddy and Durple. Simon was the one to confess.
• Simon has crushed on many members of the cast, including Tunner, Wenda, and Gray, as well as his two boyfriends, Raddy and Durple. All of the former 3 are taken, and Tunner even personally turned Simon down, stating his age being too far from the yellow twink's as a reason, in addition to the fact he had a lover already.
• Simon's antennae emote with him, drooping when he is sad, for instance.
• Simon is good at video games and sports, especially running, unlike Raddy. Raddy could beat him in a fist-fight though, but he doesn't Want to.
• Simon and Oren are the same species of genotypically sexless aliens, though ones that default to he/him pronouns. Sort of like the opposite of Steven Universe gems.
• Simon works as a dental assistant, having gone to brief schooling for that. He has great teeth due to this, and frequently points out imperfections with other Sprunki's teeth.
